Our Story

Anna, the founder of Bamboolicious, grew up in Frankfurt — a city of suits, skyscrapers, and status. But even as a young girl, she felt an inner knowing — that this wasn't her path. At 14, she left everything familiar behind and spent a year abroad in New Zealand. There, life felt different. More real. Learning to hike through wild landscapes, sleep in the bush, and swim in crystal clear waters, she fell in love with nature and the feeling of being free in her own skin.

That early taste of freedom stayed with her. After finishing high school, she followed a whisper inside her heart and moved to Australia — a place she had never been, but somehow always belonged. From the moment she arrived, things flowed. Life unfolded effortlessly, and she quickly discovered a new way of being: barefoot, sun-kissed, held by the earth, and surrounded by wild-hearted souls who didn’t care what you looked like — only how deeply you danced.

It was at her very first Australian festival — bathing in a creek, dancing under moonlight, not looking in a mirror for days — that something inside her changed forever. She reconnected with her body, her essence, and her spirit. And with that reconnection came a deep shift: she could no longer tolerate anything artificial — in her body, on her skin, or in her life. From that moment on, it was all-natural, all the way.

Anna's transition to natural beauty products came intuitively. Clean skin, clean hair, clean body — all cared for by nature.
